At the moment we’re all looking for the small things to get us through. So we’re asking our community how they’re getting on. What are the small rituals, the day to day projects, and routines that are helping them cope with the new normal?

Steve is a LinkedIn, Resume and Personal Branding Expert from Ontario, Canada. Here’s how he’s getting through this weird time:

Here in Ontario, Canada, we have been in lockdown for months now. This time has allowed me to really focus on growing my business while also refining my existing brand.

I am constantly doing my best to stay in shape while just sitting around all day by blocking out specific times to get up and move. Walks around the block, feeding the ducks, late-night jogs by the canal — doing whatever we can to stay active.

One of my favourite moments of the day is when I throw on some Maroon 5 and dance around the living room with my daughter. The lockdown has given me a chance to spend a lot more time with my Fiance and baby girl.

I have also been spending a lot of time practicing the piano which wasn’t always an option when the world is moving at full speed.

I have used this period as an opportunity to enhance my abilities and position myself for success when everything comes back online. All and all, my family is what’s getting me through this lockdown!
